The Vidarbha district in Maharashtra faces a heart-wrenching crisis, with the highest suicide rates among farmers in the country. The primary cause is the debt trap many farmers fall into, forced to take loans under unfavorable terms. We decided to step in and improve their living conditions. We have adopted a village in Vidarbha and are committed to addressing every need of the affected farmers.
Our efforts range from educating their children and providing financial counseling to help them avoid debt traps, to offering seeds and monetary support through micro-financing schemes. Our goal is to empower these communities, ensuring a brighter, more sustainable future for the farmers and their families.
